01Information We Collect

Quick Summary

We collect the details you share when you contact us, submit a manuscript, or subscribe to our newsletter, along with basic technical information about your visit. We use it to respond to you, evaluate submissions, deliver our publishing services, and improve the Site, — and we do not sell your personal information.

We collect information in two ways: information you provide directly, and information collected automatically when you use the Site.

Information you provide to us

  • Contact & inquiries. When you complete a contact form or email us, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
  • Manuscript & proposal submissions. When you submit a manuscript, sample, or proposal, we collect your name, contact details, and the materials and information you choose to send.
  • Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your email address (and any name you provide).
  • Author & business relationships. If we work together, we may collect additional details needed to provide publishing services, such as mailing address, payment details, and contractual information.

Information collected automatically

  • Log & device data. Such as your IP address, browser type, device information, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Usage data. Pages viewed and how you interact with the Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

02How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
  • Review, evaluate, and respond to manuscript and proposal submissions;
  • Provide, administer, and improve our publishing services and the Site;
  • Send newsletters, updates, and marketing communications you have requested (you can opt out at any time);
  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Site and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

03Manuscript & Proposal Submissions

We handle submitted manuscripts and proposals with care and limit access to those involved in the review process. Please keep the following in mind:

  • Submitting a manuscript or proposal does not create a publishing agreement and does not transfer any rights in your work. Any publishing relationship is governed by a separate written agreement.
  • Always keep your own copies of anything you send us. We may be unable to return or store submitted materials indefinitely.
  • Please send only the information necessary to evaluate your work, and avoid including sensitive personal information you would not want shared with our review team.

04Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. These may include:

  • Essential cookies required for the Site to function;
  • Preference cookies that remember your settings;
  • Analytics cookies that help us measure traffic and improve the Site (for example, through [Google Analytics or your analytics provider]).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works.

05How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these circumstances:

  • Service providers. With trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf — such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing — and who are permitted to use the information only to provide those services.
  • Legal & safety. When required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Kingdom Exchange Publishing, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent. When you direct or permit us to share it.

06Third-Party Services & Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any site you visit.

07Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business relationship with you, and to comply with our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

08Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information.

Please Note

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we work diligently to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

09Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to request a copy of your information; and to withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including the rights described above and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights; as noted above, we do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

10Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your location), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
